Rotting in Richmond

Friday September 15th, from 7 to 10PM, I’ll be appearing (more like lurking around and creeping people out) at Velocity Comics to commemorate the release of ROTTING IN DIRTVILLE, my first graphic novel. I’ll be hanging an art show with original comic pages from this book as well as Strange Detective Tales and other drawings, plus posters and some paintings. Professional jerks, daybyday, will be showing a trailer to their new movie, Teenagers From Uranus, and the guys from the Anthro crew will be showing sections from the newest of their skate videos. Velocity is located at 904 West Broad Street and will also be doing thier usual 20% off storewide sale for the hours of the festivity.

Man, awesome Jim! Congratulations!! Also, I can’t wait to see Uranus — uh — you know what I mean.
I am bummed that I didn’t catch this post sooner. Keep me updated on your appearances. I may have to buy a book and try to get the local comic shops hip to the nasty stylings of JC.
Your artwork is still a big hit in C-ville with the Paranormal crowd.

great work man! read it a couple times last night, and i’d just like to say thanks on behalf of our whole generation for the hard work! keep it up man!
starting an art/clothing company with some buddies this summer, with some actual small bit of funding. i’ve been running a couple of small record labels for few years now, and it’s really pleasing to think of actually making some money…
