The Extraordinaires

The Extraorinaires will be playing at Velocity Comics on December 6th at 7pm. The shop is located at 1904 West Broad Street, in lugubrious, yet tolerable Richmond, Virginia.
For those who have not heard of them, The Extraordinaires are an accoustic duo that have a record called ‘Ribbons of War’. The record is put together in a narrative format, with each of the songs telling the chapter to the story. I am turning this story into a comic book, meant to be a companion to the record, and I will be displaying my progress at the show.
‘Ribbons of War’ is a story is primarily about The Captain, dedicated to the sea, and Annelies, whose passion is flight. Lonely in their pursuits, they fall in love, but their love is short lived; as jealousy leads them to deadly battle.
