Johnson City skatepark, Tennessee
WHERE: 1509 John Exum Pkwy Johnson City, TN 37604 (next to Science Hill High School)
WHAT: Concrete park with banks, corners, stairs, ledges, and handrails.
GOOD: To me, bowled out corners in any park is a good thing, and there’s a few here. Everything here is small though, but good for learning new tricks. The variety is wide.
BAD: Pretty massive expansion joints (seams in the sidewalk) and a slightly awkward layout are qualities of this park that are hard to ignore.
PADS: none required
FREE OR PAY: free
DIRECTIONS: google maps
OVERALL: If you’re in the area, it’s worth about 45 minutes of your time. Otherwise, forget this spot ever existed.
